Burglar Alarm System:

Simply arm your alarm system when you leave your home by pressing your four-digit master code into the touchpad. This activates the alarm: if the window/door sensors are interrupted or the motion detector senses movement, your home security system will go off. The siren will sound and information about the break-in will be immediately transmitted to local law enforcement officers for quick, accurate response. Police officers will even know which door or window the intruder entered through! With the "stay" mode, you can also activate your alarm when you’re inside: this option allows you to disable the motion sensors but leave the perimeter sensors active for the best in home security.

In a residential fire you have less than three minutes to exit your home, so it’s crucial you leave immediately. Simply press the fire panic button on your SHIELD® security system and let us do the rest!

Medical Emergency Alarms:

In the event of a medical emergency, you can use your security system to summon an ambulance without calling 911. With the 24-hour medical channel, simply alert SHIELD® and they'll ensure help is on the way; this frees you up to administer vital first aid! Moreover, SHIELD® keeps important medical information about your family on file, so we can let medical personnel know who your doctor is, inform them of medical conditions/allergies, and other data crucial to getting the best medical care possible!

Ambush/ Hostage:

The easiest way to defeat a burglar alarm system today is to force the homeowner to deactivate it; unfortunately, this means that criminals may resort to ambushing you or putting you in a hostage situation in order to overcome the alarm. However, this feature of your SHIELD® security system allows you to safely outsmart the intruder, even if he is armed! Simply use your ambush code to alert SHIELD® to the situation and your alarm will silently activate. This allows us to discreetly notify the police of your dangerous situation; they will immediately send help.
